More work...

Hey there, worked on this yesterday - so I have an idea for something on each layer now, just need to work on refining some of the making and adding to the layers to make them richer and more complex.

Have to say, I'm loving this way of working, if we had more time/money I could imagine a little cluster of these towers so that they become like an urban landscape in the installation.

Do you know Sarah Sze? She has so inspired me on this project, I really think the way I will install the work should be discreet and stumbled across, need to check out potential spaces at the department this afternoon... will let you know.xx

Anyway, - the Aberystwyth map is cut out and stands on pins, I really liked the fragility of this - makes me start to think of landscape as a fragile memory and the structure of the map with this organic quality begins to make me think of synapses in the brain and stoooof! Haha! that sounds a bit pretentious now, it is pretty too me thinks!x
